Dear Parents,

Thank you for your interest in our school and for seeking out a Montessori education for your child. My forty-three years as a Montessori teacher and School Head has proven repeatedly that a Montessori education is the best gift we can give our children.

At The Cobb School, the joy and delight in learning are matched by the values of hard work, integrity and compassion. Students from ages 15 months through 12 years are engaged in work that is stimulating and challenging. The Cobb School prepares the child for success in life – academically, socially, and emotionally.

Current research supports Dr. Montessori’s conviction that the years from birth to age 12 are the most critical. At our school, we strive to provide the best for all of our students as they move from one developmental stage to another. Students who graduate from our 6th grade program leave us fully prepared for middle schools in all areas. At The Cobb School, they will learn the importance of hard work, self-discipline, responsibility, critical thinking, and respect and concern for others.
