Circus Week

April 8 - April 13

Step right up for an exhilarating week of circus wonder, where Circus meets Montessori!

For the 26th consecutive year, we are thrilled to welcome back Troy from Wunderle’s Big Top Adventures to the Great Hall. Under his seasoned guidance, children will embark on a journey of discovery, learning circus tricks that are not just thrilling, but also instrumental in refining motor skills.

At the heart of this circus in residence is the Montessori philosophy. Just as Maria Montessori believed in nurturing the holistic development of a child, Circus Week blends fun and learning to stimulate both the mind and body. Children will not only master exciting circus feats but will also enhance their concentration, coordination, and balance, all while developing a deep sense of accomplishment.

As Dr. Montessori once said, “The hands are the instruments of man’s intelligence.” In Circus Week, those hands juggle, spin, and create wonders, all while growing in dexterity and confidence.

At the culmination of this enchanting week, where every child becomes a star performer, caregivers are invited to participate in a one-hour circus session with their child. This is a much-beloved Cobb tradition that children and adults look forward to each year.
