A Cobb School education is an investment in your child’s future.
We believe that the cost of independent school education should not be a deterrent to families considering private education.
We encourage any family who feels they may need financial assistance to apply for financial aid.
Due to the commitment of members of our community, the Cobb School has need-based financial aid funds from which to draw in order to help families of qualified students who may not otherwise have access to an independent school education. Families for whom a Cobb education may present a financial burden are encouraged to discuss the process and details of our Financial Aid Program with our Director of Admissions.
Criteria
Preference is given to families who have two or more children enrolled in The Cobb School. Financial aid awards are made on a year-to-year basis. Applying for financial aid does not affect your child’s prospects for admission to the Cobb School. Although our commitment to tuition assistance is strong, are resources are limited, and our maximum award is no more than 50% of total tuition. The Cobb School Montessori does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, or national or ethnic origin in the administration of its education policies, admission policies, financial aid programs or any other school-administered program.
Financial Aid Application: Apply Online
In order for us to allocate our resources wisely and fairly, we have enlisted the help of Independent School Management’s FAST (Financial Aid for School Tuition) program. ISM’s FAST does not decide whether financial assistance will be given or how much to give; rather FAST provides a need-based financial aid analysis service. FAST provides the school with a report, which includes a recommendation of what a family should reasonably contribute toward tuition. All information from FAST is kept confidential.
- The charge for the application is $48 and is to be paid by credit card at the end of the session. Click HERE to visit the FAST website.
Once completed, the application will be available for the Financial Aid Committee’s review. You will be contacted by the Business Manager if additional information is needed.
